The global survey of the World Petroleum Council "Youth Perception of the Oil and Gas Industry: Attracting and Retaining Talent" has been extended until June 13, 2021!

More than 3,500 students and young professionals in the energy industry around the world have already completed this survey.

The study will help you understand how the views of the younger generation on the oil and gas industry and the working conditions in it have changed. Its results will be officially presented in December 2021 at the 23rd World Petroleum Congress in Houston.

After completing the survey, you get an opportunity to win a subscription to the Petroleum Economist magazine, as well as a mentor session with an experienced industry expert.

From 16 to 19 November the XIII International Youth Scientific and Practical Congress “Oil and Gas Horizons” was held at the National University of Oil and Gas “Gubkin University” in a hybrid format. From 5 to 9 July 2021, the annual international educational summer school of Gubkin University was held for students and specialists of the oil and gas industry.   The Summer School included two areas: "Drilling and Well Construction" and "Sustainable Marine and Subsea Technologies".
