SUMMER SCHOOLS OF THE MINING UNIVERSITY

 From June 28 to July 10, students of Gubkin University took part in the International Summer Schools of St. Petersburg Mining University in the areas of "Oil and Gas Business" and "Practical Engineering".

As part of the two-week course, the participants visited the training ground "Sablino", where drilling equipment was presented, on which the guys launched a fountain well and a well equipped with an ESP. Specialists of leading oil and gas companies and outstanding professors conducted lectures, during which the participants learned about the current situation in the oil and gas industry and the prospects for the development of the energy market. In addition, the students worked out their theoretical knowledge in practice with the help of laboratory work in virtual reality on offshore production using MPC and on the operation of wells on land. Also, students had the opportunity to visit the museum of the St. Petersburg Mining University, learn more about the rich history of both university and city.

At the end of the educational course students of Gubkin University successfully passed the final testing and received certificates of participants.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL OF GUBKIN UNIVERSITY 2021

From 5 to 9 July 2021, the annual international educational summer school of Gubkin University was held for students and specialists of the oil and gas industry.   The Summer School included two areas: "Drilling and Well Construction" and "Sustainable Marine and Subsea Technologies".
